The American car maker Ford have gained an overwhelming response for its compact SUV EcoSport in India is planning to launch the next generation Fiesta by early next year. The Indian version of the Fiesta will have a new design that will be 1-1.5 lakh cheaper than the existing model in order to make it easy for the buyers to buy.
The 2014 Fiesta will have front grille with chrome slats, revised new bumper, fog lamps and head lights with a new bonnet. It will also sport new tail lights and some other changes in the backseat. The 2014 version of the Fiesta would go through restyling. The car will remain the same like its other version but with a high power 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine that can be fitted in the car. The two other engines of 1.5-liter and petrol and 1.5-liter diesel would power the 2014 Fiesta engine and also the same engines that are used in EcoSport.
Like the current petrol version, the 2014 Ford Fiesta will be with a five-speed auto manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine of the car will have five-speed manual transmission that exists now.
